Transfers? Nope. We get to be the same.

Dear Fam,

Hey everyone! I hope you guys are having fun at home and whatnot. Hope the weather is great and the school loads aren´t that big. I hope life is good because my life is great right now and I´m about to go crazy because next week I will forever be done being a teenager. Yeah, I´m getting old. A little scary to say the least but I´ve got no other choice but to face it.

So this week was good. We did a ton of walking and searching and whatnot in the cold and the rain. It was a good experience. and i got to use my boots again which I am grateful for because they are super comfortable to walk in. We also got to do lots of service which we haven´t had the opportunity to do in a while. This week we also had the opportunity to have interviews with the President. Wahoo! I actually enjoy having interviews with him. Probably because he tends to give me exactly the answers to what I need to do in the mission to be a better companion and teacher. Plus he also expresses how much he cares about all of us missionaries and that makes me feel really good.

This week when we went to the mission office there was an awesome quote on a sticky note next to our map of the mission. It didn´t say who said the phrase but it made me ponder. it goes like this
"If you want peace, just stand for nothing."
How true that is! If we just stand by allowing everyone to do whatever they want, right or wrong, we will have peace, but the world would be so much worse off than how it is right now. Satan likes it when we condone what´s wrong by not standing up for what´s right. It helps him fulfil his evil purposes. Doesn´t mean that we can be un-Christlike in standing up for what is right but silence is compliance. I hope we all can continue to stand for the right and allow nothing to stop us.

I love you all and hope you have an excellent week!

Hermana Hyer
