General authorities and Progress

So explanation of the title. We got to have a conference with General authorities, and not just any general authorities, Elder L Whitney Clayton. From the Presidency of the Seventy. That´s right, ya´ll are jealous. It was probably one of the coolest things in the world. We got to take a picture as a mission with him and it was really cool. Then we all got to shake his hand and sit and listen to him talk. But what blew my mind more than anything was this, He gave the entire conference in Spanish. I was totally expecting there to be a translator and whatnot but no, he surprised me by speaking in spanish. It was awesome!!! He taught us a bunch of cool things about being missionaries, told stories and even had a question and answer round. It was awesome!

Progress, well I am seeing major progress with our investigator Ismael. We taught him the word of wisdom and he gave up coffee (his only problem) right away. We saw him on friday and then saw him again on sunday at church and he looked super tired, so we asked him, Why are you so tired? And he says, i gave up coffee and so im really tired. How cool is that? I love how happy he seems when we teach him and everything. We´re seeing awesome progress!!! I just hope i dont get transfered next week so i can keep teaching him. (Because next week is transfers again... Time is flying!!!)

The Gospel is completely true and if we live it´s precepts, we can become more like our Savior Jesus Christ. The more we live the Gospel the happier we will be. One thing that I noticed watching Elder Clayton speak is that he radiates a light and a semblance of happiness that I would certainly like to have as well. I know that if we each live up more fully to our baptismal covenants described in Mosiah 18 that we will be that light and have that happiness more fully in our lives.
Love you all!
