Recovery week

Dear fam,

Hey ya´ll. SO this week was recovery week. AKA, stay in the house and try not to go crazy... I get cabin fever really super fast, especially here in the mission field. Yep. its been interesting. So you ask, How on earth did we not burn down the house? Like this:
1. the first counselor bought us a gallon bucket of ice cream. Which, we have not yet finished.
2. We were allowed to watch a couple of movies, 17 miracles, ephriams rescue, home on the range, the other side of heaven and Faith in God.
3. We got crafty and made paper boxes and stars and whatnot.
4. I found a book of mormon in Italian and am reading it out loud
5. My companion has P90X Yoga so Im getting more fit.
6. We talked out all of our problems fears and likes.
7. Naps are a lifesaver.
8. We cooked!!! Super fun and I got to learn new mexican dishes to make when I get home.
And that is how we didn´t die of boredom. And we read scriptures of course, I learned a lot of cool stuff about the gospel . Especially about how literally everything we go through and is in the Gospel has a symbolic meaning. For example, birth. When we are born we receive a spirit, are born with water and with blood. We have to be spiritually born again by being baptized, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and we are sanctified through the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. How cool is that??? Pretty awesome if I do say so myself.
I hope you all have a great week!!!
Love you all!
Hermana Hyer

PS. that is my almost burial shroud from too much sitting.
