Last week

Dear Fam,

Guess what? it was my last week and i am sad because it was awesome and i am going to miss this but happy because soon i will be home. Real soon.

We saw quite a few miracles this week and even had the chance to see the miracle of fasting. Yesterday/today we did the most ridiculous fast that I will tell you the details about later but just know that it was crazy. We didn´t do anything dangerous and we only fasted for 24 hours so don´t be worried. However, we fasted for things like finding new investigators and guess what? We found them. It was awesome. We found 3 in a less active´s family who´s name is Wong and they are going through a trial that only the Plan of Salvation can help with. They are the wife of hna wong and his two kids, Liu and Liang. And then we went to Elizabeth´s house who is an investigator that hasn´t been progressing too much but to our surprise, she brought two young adults named Gabriela and Mauricio to the lesson and they want to learn more about God and find out how he can help them in their lives. MIRACLES!!!! Man, the Lord is willing to bless us so much when we make sacrifices it´s amazing. They all seem like really promising prospects for converts so we are really excited. It makes me happy to know that I´ll be leaving the area with lots of potential progress and the Sisters don´t have to start from scratch.

So not much happened this last week except for we found out who in the ward really loves us and are willing to work with us. Which is something i would have liked to know before this point but whatever. Hna Gifford will be able to continue the work without me. We are both sad to be parting but we know that we´ll be seeing each other real soon seeing as she´ll be going to BYU when she gets back. An hour difference is not that long of a drive.

I have been sooooo lucky to have been able to serve a mission. It´s really one of the greatest things like everyone always says to those who haven´t gone. My testimony has grown so much and i have too. Honestly, I am way different than i used to be but it´s a good thing. I have learned so many skills and am way more confident in myself therefore, it was totally worth it. I´m going to miss Mexico but the border is so close that i know I´ll be coming back soon. I love you all and I´ll see you soon!!!
Love,
Hermana Hyer

P.S., the pics will be given at home for lack of time. Love you!
